Where can I source an exhaust for 1.3MJ 4x4 ? Damaged whilst removing to refit transfer box. Flexible section had it and tailpipe cracked. Whilst I could fit a repair flexible and weld the tailpipe back in, the general condition of the pipe not good and raised comments on last MOT. It would appear to be the original system so not expected to last much longer.

Is there one on the shelf, do I have one made, or ship one from Poland/Italy?

As far as I am aware (and stand to be corrected), the only solution for the TA and the MJ exhaust is either buy direct from Fiat at a stupid price or get one made by a custom exhaust company. There appear to be no pattern parts available anywhere in the known universe…

That does seem to be the case. However, always worth asking Shop4Parts.co.uk as they seem to be able to source and supply genuine parts for a rather lower price than the dealers do (and offer a 10% discount to ‘donated members’ of this forum)

All roads lead to Rome, note this compatible with 2.0litre diesel Toyota Avensis. Came to a similar conclusion. Having just changed the clutch it interesting the common parts used across various platforms and models. Not then surprising that the trade does not have a total matrix of this: they actually have the parts, don’t realise that they fit further vehicles.( Just also read post about LUK clutch, RH:LH). Remember same part from Allegro, used on Montego, then Jag, then Discovery, with differential pricing. So have irons in the fire, so to speak, for the same exhaust from a different source for circa £150, which more in the ballpark.
