3rd year Warranty

Soz for being a thicky, but how does the 3rd year dealer warranty work if the car originally was bought from a Fiat dealer, then sold, & bought by me from another non Fiat Garage. Do I keep the 3rd Year or not?

you need to get the warranty put into your name, then it is still valid, not that a dealer warranty is of any use.

Hey don't knock it! I had conrod and crankshaft replaced on a dealer warrenty along with other relevant bits!

How do you do that? is it just a question of ringing the nearest dealership?

yes, contact the dealership and explain. they'll ask for a small fee (£10 usually) and then it will be in your name. once it is in your name, and assuming you have up to date service history, you will be under warranty.
