1000? i did cornwal and back (600) in my grande and i was dead!, went to france for the weekend with my dad in his bmw (i drove shhhhhh) and it was verry plesent

Yeah that was my point, people buy these cars because they want comfort. Kids like beau won't realise this until they grow up and get a decent job that requires long comuting.

I've driven a Dodge Charger in the US which is the same car underneath & it was a lot better than I was expecting - handled pretty well, very big and comfortable, albeit in a plasticky american not-very-well-made kind of stylie. I can see why their cars cost a lot less than European ones.

But a diesel? He should have bought the SRT-8.. 6 litre hemi and 425 BHP!! :slayer::slayer::slayer:

what sort of mpg does it get? my dad had the 2.8 CRD in a cherokee and it only got 16.2 The 530D hes looking at will probably be alot better?

i like the american style of it.

its all mean and aggressive looking, wouldnt mind one with the hemi engine in it though

only thing i dont like is the 'multi-coloured' interior, but i could live with that

Looks nice but will always be a poor mans equivalent of the marque you have got rid of and has a terrible suspension, it is too choppy and finds bumps it shouldnt for the market sector is it sold in

who cares, its a mean looker and so damn cool too, I love them. Honestly you can keep your boring modern BMWs, and everyone thinks youre a nob in a beemer anyhow
Well done for being different, and does it really matter if your plastic is cheap... ALL plastic is cheap anyway, go back to wood and proper leather and vinyl dashboards!
