Does anyone know where i can get a decent back box? (as the standard one is boring!) for reasonable money, And are they easy to fit?

Supersprint are very good

We can get hold of the following supersprint back boxes which look very nice on the back of a stilo.

814709 Rear exhaust 145 x 75 Stainless steel (link to pic -http://www.supersprint.com/prodotti/814709.jpg)

814706 Rear exhaust OO 70 Stainless steel (link to pic - http://www.supersprint.com/prodotti/814706.jpg)

if you want any prices on these items email [email protected]

Rip off!

What a rip off!

I just phoned Eurostyling, they stock Supersprint Backboxes for the Stilo, there are two styles and the price is the same for both, £228 + vat which is £327 plus £25 postage, is that a scam or what?

Remember it's only a back box not a complete system or CAT back system!

YUK!

Try fast FIAT, they stock Ansa back boxes and they retail at £187 including VAT.

Re: Rip off!

ys but they are the best boxes around, and you are buying through a trade distributer only there, we buy trade from eurostyling, they give you sky high price to get rid of you! they dont deal direct with the public

I'd agree 100%, but I'd also say you can sometimes pay over the odds for something that isn't really going to give any benefit, a bit like my mate spending 8k more on a similar car to mine just cos its got a VW badge :D

Oh dear.......................

This spend is fine with me, I get the sound I want, the 3-5HP claimed gains and a five year warranty, which will not concern me because in five years, someone else will own my car I guess!

If these people can knock out units that were previously priced at £215 for £108 and still make a profit, then it shows you, one, what they are really worth, and two, what a greedy group of people retailers are!

Just because we live in Britain people think we'll pay over the odds, well I say B O L L O C K S!!!

I'm Italian, I always haggle and always stick out for a bargain!

Re: Oh dear.......................

tc can you give a bit more info on your new purchase please!!
delivery (time and price) , quality of exhaust , easy to fit , not to loud? , etc...etc...
cheers!

Info............

Ordered on Thursday at 1500 arrived on Friday at 1045, cost £108 including VAT but add £12 carriage, total £120.

The quality looks fine, but only time will tell but it comes with a five year warranty so it should be ok.

The box is identical fit to the original so I took it to my local exhaust centre, they had it fitted in half and hour and they said that it was one of the easiest and best fitting aftermarket performance exhausts they'd fitted. They didn't believe how little I paid for it so I showed them the reciept and they were gob-smacked.

Anything else, just ask!

Korang, it cost £15 to fit!

Oh, and in with reference to the noise, at idle it's quiet but deep, like a baratone, between idle and 4000rpm you can hardly notice the difference between this one and your standard one, over 4000rpm it sounds nice and deep and sporty, really sweet!
