I'm not sure, but I heard of someone with a Mk1 who'd fitted wheels from a Thorneycroft Mighty Antar Tractor and had mated a blown 502 Cubic Inch Chevy Rat Motor to the Std Punto Gearbox...

I know where your coming from. I think. ;->

Here come da judge...

What the hell? People from Surrey don't drive Fiats: far too pretentious ;)

Now it just looks silly doesn't it!? You know it looks silly. It's not big and it's not clever - it's just silly! And so do exhaust pipes of more that 3 inch diameter!

i think 27s will require arch, (and roof) work

For GT sideskirts, it's probably worth looking at some scrap cars -if they've got a GT with a smashed-up front or rear end you're in luck. Failing that, FIAT dealers must surely sell them, although they could be a bit pricey.

And it IS possible to get 27's on a Punto with no arch work...

Rofl. Isn't the max rack load 70kg? Have you ever tried to shift a lorry tyre?

:I

Well, I'll never try again anyway.

I used to work with lorries (summer job), and I have indeed tried to move a few full-size "wagon wheels" (not too bad if you roll 'em but if they drop you're buggered).
So, I suspect that in a more realistic pic the poor Punto would be a little flatter! :D
