I'm new here and I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere....
My charging socket (cigarette lighter) is no longer working, along with the light for the temperature control (in that case, the a/c on 'snowflake' lights, but the figures around the dial do not). I suspect fuses, of course, and I've located the interior fuse block (next to the hood release on the driver side), as well as the one in the engine compartment.
My question is.....how do I get into those fuse compartments??? I'm used to small plastic boxes that are easily accessed, so this is a little bit daunting. Am I on the right track, or is there some secret method of checking/changing fuses that I don't know about?
