Technical 2014 Doblo speed limiter

Hi everyone, ive just purchased an ex fleet Fiat Doblo Maxi 1.3 multijet diesel on a 14 plate which has been limited to 67mph.
Been quoted £250 locally to have this removed but I just wondered if there was anyone on the forum with the ability to delete the restrictor if they have the MES software etc? Obviously I'll square them up in beers or whatever I am based in Angus but travel to East Kilbride area once a fortnight. Many thanks.

I've used MultiECUScan to remove the speed restrictor on the same reg as yours and engine bought a kit on eBay for £15 with it.

Just a point but I have a 1.6 Doblo Maxi with a payload of 1 tonne and dual carriageway speed legally is 60mph with 70 on motorway.

I have the same problem with a speed limiter fitted to my 1.6td doblo.
I'm in Essex and would travel an hour to get it switched off if someone could do it.
I don't mind paying a small fee as I'm not rich

Hi Merv , have you got a walk through of what you used and steps to take to remove the speed limiter please got the same van also ex BT , cheers for any help
