General 2011 ducato x250 stereo swap

hi all,
new to fiat and forums

purchased a 2011 ducato 2.2mulitijet swb x250 panel van for converting to a camper.

looking to install a reversing camera, hoping to view via replacement 2din head unit (single din factory fitted stereo in at the moment)

reading alot about cancheck problems and flashing dashes, when original stereo is removed.

is there anything i need to buy to add into the wiring to keep things runnning smoothly, or will a proxy alignment after installation update things.

My X250 2011 is a motorhome and I changed the head unit for a JVC unit, it was a straight swop as the plugs are industry standard these days.

However my reverse camera is separate as I don’t like too much technology all in one unit as if one fails it all fails.
