2010 Qubo Trekking dashboard brake warning issue for the MOT
Tailgate wires are playing up and the upper rear brake lamp no longer works and the MOT is due next week.
Have removed the upper rear brake lamp as been told it is not needed for an MOT (if removed).
Problem is that the dashboard brake warning light comes on with the message 'check rear brake lamps'. The 2 lower brake lamps work OK.
Is this an MOT failure?
If so, any quick fixes to stop the warning lamp coming on?
The upper brake lamp works when rigged to a battery, so guess the wires are gone somewhere in the tailgate loom.
Thanks in advance
