Technical 2010 3 ltr turbo multi jet 160 engine failures

I recently had my 2010, 3 ltr turbo multi jet engine fail at 11,000 kilometres. A big end failure is the cause of the problem.

Fiat ran away with the crankshaft and offending con rod before I could look at them.]Has anyone else had the same or similar engine problems.

When I bought my Ducato 2.8 new in 2004 the engine lasted 10 days and clocked up a whopping 119 miles

The #3 conrod big end failed. Shell bearings spinning in the conrod. Soring to the cranshaft. Crankshaft and conrod are to be replaced.
