Hi all new to forum and have a quick question regarding my expansion tank on Doblo. Keeps getting low and water every few journeys and needs topping up. The oil is jet black and no white oil in the water system so not sure what to look for next? Any ideas?

Water could be leaking into the combustion chamber rather than into the oil gallery through a blown head gasket ?

I am not sure if it is a small leak I cannot see as its such a small amount over couple of days maybe a quarter of a litre ? I would have thought if it was the HG gone it would be quicker and have more obvious signs?
