Just bought my '06 with the 1.9D engine, currently fixing all the little bits and bobs the previous owner let slip.
Looks like the resonator fell off the air intake pipe at some point, previous owner "fixed" it with lots of 'leccy tape, some PU sealant, and a WD40 can lid.
Bought a new air intake pipe with resonator online, fitted it yesterday - all working good! Did notice though that there's a tab on the bottom of the resonator with a bolt hole. Can't seem to see anywhere in the area it would be bolted to though?
It seems fairly solid, but wouldn't want a repeat of the previous intake pipe.
Any help from people with a factory installation would be appreciated!
