Panda 2004 Panda Dynamic

Just bought this 2004 Panda Dynamic, 1.2 as a little fixer upper to sell. Having had my 'MyLife' for over a year I have become quite attached to these cars. I'll post updates on this thread of it's little journey.

Introduction

I've got another Panda, with 64,000 on the clock, I think that's quite the bargain!

I always liked the custard yellow, but I won't be keeping this unfortunately. It requires a bit of loving and once it's got it's fresh mot it'll be going away.

Whilst waiting for parts, started doing some tidying up jobs. Confirmed it is coilpack 1 that's buggered but they should be arriving tonight (15/10/25).

Cleaned up the throttle butterfly valve, had a go with the sandblaster with the battery stay. Wire wheeled and copper greased the top strut nuts/thread, cleaned up the coilpack brackets.

Gave it a quick wash, pretty impressed with how well it's came out!

Had a scuff on the nearside but luckily with a little bit of G3 Polish and a rag, got it all off!

Went back to the unit at night and gave the headlights a polish! Really impressed with how well they've came out!

FIXED! Firing on all 4 cylinders now!

Coilpack 1 (closest to firewall) was the issue, but just for peace of mind, I replaced the sparkplugs and HT Leads!

***HT LEAD ORDER***
If you're doing this and forget, the leads from the coilpacks in order from closest to firewall to bumper is 4 - 1, 3 - 2.

As in;
Coilpack 1 - Plug 4
- Plug 1
Coilpack 2 - Plug 3
- Plug 2

- Also changed the thermostat as it was a 10 minute job.

Fitted airbox back on and fired it up, no misfire anymore!! EML also went out, didn't even need to wipe any codes!!!

Decided to give the rear beam some TLC, needle gunned it, wire wheeled it where needed. Red oxidised it, epoxy painted it then used some undersealing on it!

Gave the brake drum shoes assembly a good clean with brake cleaner, gave the drums a slight clean and paint with VHT black.

This is going to be a good wee treat for someone!

Didn't really need them done BUT thought I'd do it anyway, front discs and pads changed! 😊

Gave front end/subframe some undersealing!

Hi folks,

I'm nearly at a stage I'll be MOT'ing this. Was just wondering if anyone could give me some selling advice?.

2004 Panda Dynamic, 64,500 miles.
Timing belt/water pump was done 2023✅
2X new ignition coils✅
New HT leads✅
New sparkplugs✅
Underside cleaned and undersealed✅
New front discs and pads✅

Bad point ❌️ rear bumper is cracked but no damage to the rear crashbar.

Would £1500 be too high a price to advertise? And would you recommend I source a new/colour matched rear bumper?

Thank you
Adam

Garages adding a warranty are normally a fair bit higher, plus they add a bit extra on top to sort out any part exchange

Private sale are normal quite a bit less

A thousand or near offer sounds about right to me
