Hi All....I have a 2004 fiat Ulysse 2.0 jtd 16v with an Antipollution fault warning on the dash and is in limp mode..i keep getting the same fault code..my launch x431 code reader tells me (p0191) diesel pressure control coherence between diesel press,regul,current…?..i can clear the code and the car will drive fine. Some days it wont come on and others I will come on 3-4 times a day..anyone know what part it is I need to change?

It might be worth your while to change your diesel fuel filter, as a first step. If the problem occurs when the engine is under load for a period (e.g. going uphill for a while), a partially blocked fuel filter may prevent the maintenance of the required fuel rail pressure. In any event, fuel filters are fairly cheap and changing it will do no harm.

Good luck!

Sorry the filter change didn't fix your problem. If possible, I suggest connecting your car's diagnostic socket to a Peugeot Planet 2000 (or similar) system to check the 'desired' and 'actual' fuel rail pressures under various load conditions. Also, an injector leak-off test would tell you if one, or more, of your injectors is leaking. A leaking injector could cause reduced fuel rail pressure and produce the symptoms you are experiencing.

thanks, the fuel pressure regulator reads 260bar @ 700 rpm and 570bar @ 3200 rpm, it will go upto 1300bar if i floor it...i will have a look and check connections next then do a leak off test on the injectors thanks again :)
