Scudo 2002 jtd 2.0hdi starting problems when hot

Hello everyone, can anyone advise me what and how to cure this problem....???

my Scudo hdi, starts pretty good when cold and runs as sweet as a nut, drives lovely, ticks over nicely etc 115,000 miles.
problem when hot van sometimes wont start at all, new battery and starter with great power and cranking over, if i leave the engine to cool for 30 mins etc the van starts fine.

my other scudo is fine

any ideas

Sounds like a classic symptom of the crank sensor failing. Especially given the age and mileage. They are normally cheap to replace
