Hi guys, got a 51 plate Seicento Abarth, tyres (175-50-14) these things cost a fortune, what is the alternative, will 175-60-14 fit ok, I know the rolling diameter will be slightly larger and this will affect speedo readings.
Any body got any advise.

Go for Yokohama A539s in 185 50 14 just put a new set on mine and have had them on all my cinqs and swear by them and not alot of money(y)(y) mine were £210:D:D

Be warned - Yoko A539's are discontinued/no longer made, so you might get a set now, but next time you might not be so lucky

A reason why above poster may have got them at a very cheap price

175 50 14s by sonar just fitted set inc vat balancing new valves etc.200 quid ( surely that aint to expensive ) you can buy the tyres on ebay around 160 unfitted ....

ok you might get 18550 14s a few pounds cheaper but at the end of the day you will use more petrol as there heavier and harder work for the car..lol i had 185 60 14s on the car last owner fitted them ( idiot ) and the car rubbed and the acceleration was rubbish .
