Technical 2.8 not starting

Hi Guys.
Ive got a 2.8 hdi . It doesnt want to start the motor is turning over but not starting. when you spray wd40 in intake it starts but a soon as you stop squirting the engine dies. Can anybody help please

Is the immobiliser light coming on and going off as normal?
Have you check the inertia switch behind the battery?
Can you hear the lift pump in the tank running when you turn the key to MAR?

Hi Thanks for the reply. immobiliser light is off , insertia behind the battery is fine . The pump in the tank is also coming on.

I hate all those sprays, what damage they can do. Time for plug in?

Hi . I changed the donar vehicles immobiliser and chipkey and still not starting.
Did manage to put a code reader on but says 0 codes found.Any other suggestions

Ecu immobilizer and key have to match if you change just two you can screw up the rolling code on the original Ecu.

fully chargebtge battery and jumper it to another vehicle. Take off the return lines one by one and check how much diesel is flowing out each when you crank it
