Hi i currently have a 07 bravo 150 m/jet...mapped to 195bhp...with RR too prove it lol

anyhow i fancy some more grunt and am thinking of buying and ALFA 2.4jtd

either a 159 or Brera... prob brera....

anyone that has a Marea with this engine in it please tell me in real world terms what the MPG is town and combined motorway etc etc ...and how reliable it is ????

aint the 159 and Brera got the 20V M-Jet where as the Marea only has the 10V JTD

correct

the Marea has the older 10v Version which was only seen in a few of the earlier Alfa's, 156 IIRC but was later upgraded to the 20v aswell.

which is you saying is correct cause I dont think the JTD has 10v

for some reason i wouldn't mind a 2.4 jtd, don't know if it'd live up to expectations. got to be more reliable than the tipo, though would it be a "fun" drive? saying that, i've now got a RWD car which should be "fun" 2.4's aren't slow, should be relatively economical, coming from a 2.0 16v petrol background too... the only thing that puts me off is the interior. tempted to sell the tipo and get one, but sense suggests selling the tipo for a smaller petrol car.
