Technical 2.4 JTD Clutch - anyone fitted one.

Hi,

The clutch has started to slip a little on our 2.4 JTD. Has anyone fitted a new clutch, how much of a b*stard is it to do? Is it an engine out job?

Any experiences welcome, good or bad!

Mine is going in on Tuesday. Think mine is a failed release spring or something, basically I can't get it out of gear now, but it was clunking and slipping before.

Most expencive part is if you need a new flywheel.. £400ish just for that one part! I'll talk to the guys after its fitted and judging by their reaction, tell you how much of a swine the job is.
