hey forum..
( non turbo engine )
recently i went and did a cambelt change o 20v engine. changed the water pump and tensioners aswell. but when i fill the radiator with water, it seems to spill from the new waterpump, i have suplied it with new gasket/o ring. filled the container, and put it under pressure, and water starts to spill from behind belt cover. so i haven't had the car startet. i tested with pure water. any ideas of what i can do? or should i just cross fingers and fire it up ?

did you use any sealant as well as the rubber o-ring? When i do cambelts with water pumps i leave them for around 6 hours for the sealant to cure. This gives the sealant a good chance to seal.

so, are there other things i should be asure of in the process ?
and what exactly should i do ?
