MY 98 FIAT SEICENTO IS CRUNCHING AND DIFFICULT TO GET INTO 1ST,2ND AND REVERSE GEARS , IS THE CLUTCH ON THIS MODEL HYDRAULIC? HAS ANYONE ENCOUNTERED THIS PROBLEM AND MORE IMPORTANTLY CORRECTED IT

Don't think Sei clutches are hydraulic. Might be the Syncro on the Gearbox is on it's way out.

Sei's use a cable clutch. The cable itself is known to fail quite regularly.

I would say your problem is down to either a stretched clutch cable, worn clutch (causing "clutch drag") or a worn gearbox (sycro's as mentioned previously).

What engine do you have?
