Technical 1982 fiat spider fuel injector replacement

New to the forum. I'm helping an old friend get his fiat spider up and running. It sat for 15 years and I've pulled the fuel rail/injectors off to clean or replace them. How do I get the injectors off the fuel rail? the fuel rail and injectors came out easy enough but I see no way to remove them from the fuel rail. Anyone have some insight they could share with me?

According to the shop manual they pull off with a rocking, twisting motion. It looks like both ends just push on, which is wild to me. I have been working through the entire fuel system replacing everything, I will be tackling new injectors in a few weeks.

Would be great if anyone has anymore info on this...
