Technical 12v in trunk subwoofer? (pics)

Is it possible to use the 12v in the trunk for a subwoofer?

Subs tend to draw a high amp rate, so anything built in to the car is probably not up to the job of delivering the amount of power required.
The wires you show may be suitable to use as for the switch, but not for the main power.

It's possible to connect a 12v socket and tap a ignition signal for the sub?

For the sub main power, you'll need to run a large cable directly from the battery. (protected with a fuse at the battery end)

I don't know what that cable is that you found in the boot, however, if this is a switched live (ie, comes live with the ignition), then there's no reason why you shouldnt be able to tap this for the trigger.

Those are cables to connect a 12v socket. On the first picture you can see a hole where you can put a socket. It was an option at the dealer in holland. It cost 85 euro. But if you do it yourself....
