Technical 128 suspension

Hi! So the shock absorbers are gone on my zastava 128. The rears are at 30% and front right is distorted, so it basically doesn't work at all. I have a couple of questions about this. First off, can you rebuild the rears and save some money by doing so? Also I have heard lada samara shocks fit on the rear but will be stiffer, is that true? If not samara, are there any other cars which shocks fit on the 128, so I could find something better and cheaper? Or should I look for new 128 shocks, which ones should I get? Preferably to improve handling but still not very stiff. Thanks in advance and have a nice day.

You can get girling shocks for about £38, so not expensive (here anyway) a quick google search for 128/Yugo/zastava should throw up options
