Hi Guys,
Got me wee hands on a 126 GB only problem is it was in pieces when I got it. Ive worked out how to rebuild it but the spacer washers in picture not sure of. They look like they fir on the main shaft going by there diameter. Anyone can help with the location or has a detailed picture or W/shop manual would help. TIA

You really need to get a manual for that!

It looks like pinion shims which go behind the pinion shaft roller bearing and the plate which keeps the synchromesh "fingers" in place.
The number and thickness of the first shims have to be placed according to the measured pinion depth in the crownwheel. I salute anyone who's going to explain that in simple way!:worship: All you can do is hope they are all off that box and none are missing.

YOU REALLY DO NEED A MANUAL FOR THAT!

Hi Rizz, GET A MANUAL!!!! you will be in a world of pain if you assemble the thing and it goes bang :eek::eek:
Cannot help with the synchro finger plate - check you have all parts of the syncros, but with the shims you will need to assemble the diff and fit the pinion shaft with the shims in place, then comes the job of measuring the pinion/crownwheel fit. The shims place the pinion at a nominal 75mm distance from the diff centreline to the pinion shoulder. Check check and check again the markings on your pinion and crown wheel the mating code must be correct as they come as fitted pair. The Fiat 500 Haynes Manual explains the process well (page 100 para 8-4) download a copy from the forum and print the page off!!!! You then have to check the turning torque and the backlash (same Manual) good luck :eek::eek:

Thanks for all ur input guys and paolo for the link for the WSM. Spoke to the guy who sold me the GB he tells me GB was stripped down for chek out he had no issues with it and says all the bits are there once he stripped it he placed all parts in a large plastic sealed box. See my pic think worked out where the washer with holes and shim washers go?

Cheers
