124 Spider (Classic) 124 Sport Spider

Orange 1972 Fiat Sport

Introduction

My 1972 Fiat 124 Sport Spider wich was purchased by my father in 1994.
The car was imported from Colorado USA and i inherited it after my father passed away in 2022.
It's a 1.6TC and still in it's original orange colour.
Awesome! Would you mind posting more pictures ofsuch an original car? Under the hood, in the boot, cabin would be great to see. Thanks

my respect! Your car looks great like a time capsule from the 70ies!

Can we get the VIN or last 6-digits of your Fiat Spider for the worldwide Spider Register?

The worldwide Spider Register has set itself the goal of documenting all known or still existing classic Fiat 124 Spiders. It shows the worldwide distribution with the collected country-specific information and proves with currently 103 nations that the Fiat 124 Spider is a true world car. Since its launch in 1997 there have already been documented more than 23,000 cars.

Your car would be the 468th car in Belgium, but only the 8th in orange, see here:

Thanks for the support!

Hello, Sorry for my late reaction.
hereby the vin nr. of the Fiat 124 Sport/Spider 124BS1 0053124
It's an 1972 and was imported from the USA to Belgium in april 1993 and purchased by my father in may 1993.
In 2022 i inherited te car when my father passed away.
So we are the first and only owners in Belgium of the car, in total i think i'm the fourth owner two in the V.S, my father and i.
The Fiat was first registered in Overland park Kansas and it was sold by Harrigan motors in Kansas in may 1972, it's birthday is near.

Hello, thank you for your reaction.
My apologies for my late response. I will post some more pictures of the car later on, i still have to make some more detail photo's. Under the hood it's original but I must warn you that the interior is starting to look a bit tatty, it's starting to show it's age.
