Technical 105 jtd throttle position sensor

Hi there. We've had throttle problems for some time. Injector lihht coming on and going off on occasions. Lack of power. Throttle starting half way into depressing pedal. Then next day all ok. I've checked EGR. Had AA come out when throttle finally completely stopped working. Diagnostic stated Mass air sensor failure. However the live diagnosis showed 0% activity on Throttle position sensor. AA suggest change TPS. anyone know how much one costs and where to go? I'm pretty broke so cheap is good. Nothing on ebay.

Check the connectors in the cable to the TPS. Do a search on the forum - there are several threads about it. Cost to fix = £0.

Thanks Widemouth Frog. I was told to replace the actuator by a fiat breakers. I have done so. Now I have a third of my power restored but have smoking with it also. I blanked the EGR off but I still have smoking although a tiny bit more response. It also has a slight clatter. Any ideas folkes? Smoking power loss and a clatter. Injector light showing EGR blanked and still playing up.

Anyone know what causes smoking loss of power injector light on but isnt a egr problem?
