Hi,

Iam thinking of mounting fog lights because its pretty bad here in autumn driving home, Ill use extra cable directly from battery through fuse and use 3rd party green iluminated switch with 30/40A relay, guys here says yellow is better in fog.

what do you think about 100W H3 bulbs?? anyone using such thing??

is seis alternator and 45Ah battery enough for that? wont it melt reflector? I remmeber using 100W H4 in headlights damaged plugs in Jumper years ago and bulbs dont last much, is it different with H3 type bulbs?

any advices? or do you prefer some driving/spot lights instead of fog lights???

Thanks

100W Halogen bulbs is old tech. Any around will be low quality that won't last.
Any requirements for lights brighter than 55W go to HID now or top quality LED (forget after-market LEDs).

So, just use 55W Halogen.

Over here, they're more or less not allowed for main and dipped beam (except as new), but would possibly be OK for fogs.

would be illegal in fogs

Not forgetting using fogs other than when visibility is below 100 meters is illegal also.

Sounds like OP just needs to upgrade their headlight bulbs to something like Ring Xenon Max or Osram Nightbreaker Plus bulbs.
