Yup, 10 days after buying the citroen, driving home from work and 'clunk, clunk, clunk' engine dies out.





Popped the bonnet and the cam pully has sheared off and oil everywhere!




lets hope the garage gives me ma money back....

IIRC by law, any garage has to offer a warranty, whether it be 3 months, or 6 months... it's complusory.

If they try to get round it, a trip to citizens advice may be on the cards.

Yup, sold as see, the garage has been quite good, offered to pay part for repair but decided to do the work myself.


i did phone consumer direct and i dont have a leg to stand on. will be ok tho.


the garage i bought it from said i can use their account for parts so i get them half price.



should be a good few weekends work, havent had the head off yet but looks bad.
