Technical 1.9td

Hi, I've got a 1.9td 1992 ducato motorhome that I'd like to fit a bigger engine in. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what turbo diesel one I should go for. Ideally one that requires the least amount of modifications!

Much faster and probably cheaper to sell it and buy one with a bigger engine. The 2.5 turbo engine came with different gearbox, bigger wheels, bigger brakes, different suspension components. If you were really enthusiastic and like wiring looms and programming ecus and immobilisers then the 1.9jtd from an alfa may bolt up giving you 150bhp. But your gearbox would never withstand it and you'd need uprated clutch and uprated brakes.

Thanks for the advice but I only just bought it last week so am planning to hold on to it for a while!
Hopefully I'll be able to sort it out somehow!
