Hi, newbie here, had my 1.9 multijet for a week now, really enjoying it. So far I have put in some new mats, fitted my bmc induction kit that I had fitted to my mg zr 160. T-cut/polished/waxed bodywork. Treated all the exterior plastics and rubbers, started removing flaking paint of all the wheels( will be starting a thread on this later, don't know what colour to go for) , checked all fluids and tyre pressures, full clean of the interior, cleaned all glass, tyre shined, changed front side lights for led(found out punto in canbus) , fitted harness pads all round, ran some diesel injector cleaner, fitted led courtesy lights. Anyway will get stuck in and look forward to speaking to enthusiasts. Ant

North west wales, about 20 mins from chester,in Buckley. Just found a tuner around the corner, £249 to remap to 165 bhp.

Just started a thread on alloy wheels, as I am refurbishing them, don't know if I should go black or white? Or black and white, or chrome lol

When I had my GP sporting in had the alloys refurbished to black. Looked awesome when first done. Terrible to keep clean as the brake dust kept turning them muddy brown.

Been quite busy since I bought the car, all windows now tinted rear lights spray tinted, front fly eyes kit done, new induction kit, big polish and wax, full service, new disks and pads all round, badgeless grill fitted, will post pics soon, keeps raining! Just about to fit sub. Believe it or not I still havnt touched the wheels, really need to be refurbished but ££££ not available at the moment. Need four tyres and refurb. When I add up the costs it's only about £100 more for brand new alloys with tyres. Crazy.

Looking forward to seeing your updated pics mate, picked my black M-Jet up a couple of weeks ago. Same thing really, flaking wheel paint very little of the usual corrosion on the face but I would really love to give them a new lease of life - just havent got the ££££ to do it. Thinking of maybe respraying them myself when the weather picks up. (would black be cliche...)

Check my other thread on wheel refurb Jtscotton. I'm going to go with gunmetal on mine when as you say it warms up a bit.
