Technical 1.9 jtd cam sensor anyone changed one

Happy xmas all. AA man says my jtd is not starting cos cam sensor is faulty, the crank sensor is sending to ecu but injectors are not firing. Has any one changed this , it looks like its burried behind timing belt n sprocket, is there an easy way or is it belt off?

Belt off.

I would get it double checked by dealer if you can as I dont know what AA means by signal getting to ECU as only way to correctly check this is with a oscilliscope....which I doubt he had on him at the time.
