1.8 De Cat

Has anyone de-cated a 1.8 yet as I would really like to know whether anyone recommends it???

Hi m8

I will be doing mine in the next few week hopefully so will let you know what its like. It should make a fair bit of difference as I have k&n panel filter and full exhuast system. My mates have cavaliers (why I dont know) and it is a lot quicker without a decat and the exhuast sounds better.

Cool mate, do you know where the best place is the get a decat pipe and how much they are?

A mate of mine works at a car salvage yard so he is supposed to be sorting something out for me. I think its about £40-50 something like that. He might be making me one though. Will let you know when I get it done. Going to try 0-60 e.t.c with/without cat.
