General 1.6 or 1.8???

A 2.2JTD log burner in the Ulysse - which I get to smoke at the weekend - and a 2.4 gas guzzler as well...

I am currently driving a 1.2 Panda as a courtesy car

I would go for the 1.8 if I had to choose between the two. Do angel do a remap for the 1.8 ?

I know the 1.6 is a :nono: on the remaps.

But then again, look at what Nikos has done to his 1.6....

No...:nono: remap for the 1.8 but i found a few places that do superchips for them taking them to 144bhp, thats a 11bhp gain which ent bad on a petrol, plus you could easily take that to 150bhp with a bmc cda or k&n and a full through exhaust system! And how about even more bhp with some camshafts or novitec supercharger

just phoned up the insurance and they said that it will be the same price for a 1.8 as a 1.6 so i think ill go for the 1.8! just got to find one with either leather or a sky roof or a cheap one! so if anybody knows of any and would be so kind to post it here?(budget is £5000 max but would prefer to pay nearer to 4000-4500)

One finished (without bids) on e-bay a couple of hours ago. Silver 1.8 3 door with 15K on the clock and he was asking less than 5K as a buy it now. It's appeared twice recently so may come up again. Will keep an eye open unless somebody was watching it and still has the link?
