1.6 engine mods

bought a 98 brava 1.6sx three month ago. sorted my ice out. now looking to get as much power out of the engine as poss. are there any particularly good ones that actually will make a difference? i thought about starting with a pipercross viper with the cold air feed but feeling a bit sceptical about the difference it will make.

Good air filter/induction, supersprint manifold, good exhaust is about as far as you can go without spending £1000's!
