1.6 driveshaft problem

Can anybody tell me if the CV joint part on the diff on passenger side were driveshaft goes into comes off seperately to the diff and gearbox.

What it is, is that one of the three bearing with the roll pins in em on end of driveshaft have shattered n the roll pins are no longer were they shud be. how far can these pins go, can they go into the gearbox or diff or is it sealed to prevent these such things.

Only happened last nate, both wheels lock on free roll as if cars in gear but it isnt.. i know its one of the bearings that has come apart in end of driveshaft but i havent had it in bits yet. looking later just wondered if any1 knew wether i will stand a chance at gettin these roll pins out of CV joint.

The tripode is available seperately but you've now got to strip the gearbox and locate the parts of the damaged joint before it destroys the gearbox.

is it a fiat job then to get one of the tripode bits for end of shaft or can i get um from autofactors etc, i was hopin i wudnt need to hav box in bits. maybe it will be easier to just buy a second hand box n just fit it
