1.6 16v engines turbo?

hi all its been a long time.. hope every1 is good! wanted to ask about this 1.6 turbo engines iv been looking at on youtube? how can this be done? also is it expensive and which parts are needed? cheers

Isn't it a Fiat Tipo engine that has the turbo, and has been fitted to a Bravo im sure i have seen a thread containing this info on here sometime ago

yer but its not a genuine bravo turbo engine.Thats what i dont get :/

if anything its got a turbo kit bolted to it.

yeee thats what i was thinking its just got a turbo bolted on to it. i checked the other videos from the guy on youtube.. its running at 280bhp :O

Looking at the pic under the hood it dont look like a 1.6 engine from a Bravo, I've taken 2 out and im sure it dont look like that....

Im still going to go for a Tipo Turbo engine in that Bravo its been done before for sure.

Novitec did a turbo for the MKI 1.8 HLX but you cant get them anymore i beleive TommyK may know more about that.....

it is a 182b6 1.6 fiat engine used in the late bravo/a marea stilo and multipla its used from late 2000 onwards i would imagine its had a lot of engine work to be running 280bhp seen as standard the 1.6 is only 100bhp.
does look nice tho

why would you turbo a 1.6,you'd go all the way and put the coupe 16vt in it
