Technical 1.4 TJET 09 Red key / engine question

Hi there

I just bought my partner an 09 1.4 TJET bravo and a friend of hers at work brought up red key. We never received one with the car and tbh I'd never heard of them before. Should this car have came with one?

Also she is complaining about a whirling noise coming from the engine. Apparently like a washing machine, is this something we should be worried about.

No red key with these cars, you should have received an immobiliser code however, in case you need to order another one.



Pretty difficult to diagnose a car by noise at the best of times, almost impossible when you're not stood in front of it. If you're concerned find a friendly mechanic and ask him to have a look - best way to come up with the right answer.
