1.2 punto same engine as 1.2 bravo?

does anyone know if the '02 punto has the same engine as the bravo 1.2?
i need to check the plugs on it and fiat wouldn't tell me the what the gap is and it seems to be quite large on them.
it's all cos i've been having a problem starting it once in a while.
anyone?

yes theyre the same engine but with minor differences. The plug gaps are set when you buy them these days, there's no need for adjustment, just replace when knackered. If you're having probs starting then it will need a diagnostic check as there is quite a few devices which can cause this and is quite hard to decipher the problem without it. If it runs roughly obviously check coil packs which are known to be an occassional problem. If it is a randomly occurring starting prob i'd get it on the machine to save hastle.

i just had the 24,000 mile service and it has a prob starting once in a while. it never had this before thats all.
oooh just as to not embarass myself this is my lasses car not mine,
dont think a 6'5" lad in a punto looks that cool. lol
