How easy is it to fit a lambda to a 1.2? What tool will i need to get the old one out? Will I have to jack the car up?

cheers

Very easy to remove the lambda sensors. Decent sized ajustable spanner will get them out. Follow the lead up, and disconnect the plug and your done.

As in true Haynes style, fitting is the reverse of removal.

Might have to do an ECU reset too. Guide for that is in the repair guide... also very easy to do.

Yes, you probs will have to jack the car up.

U don't have to jack it up if you don't want to,the 1.2 is pretty spacey and the lambda can be changed from above. Make sure you do it after leaving the car off for at least a few hours, as the down pipe and section on top will be VERY HOT!

I'd recommend doing it in the morning, as it's been left overnight to cool down :)

Good Luck,

make sure you have a hammer handy. its easy in principle, but in practice those buggers practically weld themselves into place!
