Hi Guys,
I'm new here. I'm currently restoring a 1972 500L..........Bodywork in a bad way! :yuck: Looks like the floor was built for Fred Flintstone.
It has had a previous "restoration" and as a result a lot of the fittings are non standard, or in the wrong places. I have downloaded and printed the spare parts lists and can identify the correct part numbers for the setscrews, bolts, washers and nuts required...........but with the exception of one or two, most I cannot find on an internet search. Does anyone have a Fiat hardware list or catalogue, so that I can translate the part numbers into my requirements please? I know, for example that 16043221 is an M8x1.25x16mm setscrew, used on the door hinges, but there are a lot more that I cannot identify. Zinc plated should be ok and not rust? Where are you all buying hardware? I like the look of orbitalfasteners.co.uk

Thanks

Ken

I've used Orbital once, happy with them.
Sadly, there seems to be no one-stop shop for all our needs, especially if looking for fine threads.
All these I have used with good results.

Happy hunting.

Ideally you need a full list of all that you need, then browse. Doubtful you'll get all in one place, so may need to spread it to gain best value for delivery costs.

Thanks Bill, the links are useful. What I really need is a way to translate Fiat's part numbers from the manual, to the bolt diameter and lenghts, then I can start shopping around. Thanks again.
Anyone?
