My friend recently had his clutch stop working on him, not sure for what reason, maybe a fluid leak? But this is a video on how to shift without the clutch if you ever do get into that situation! Drive safe everyone!

Be more use if he showed how to pull away from stationary when your clutch has failed!
But that's not so easy.

True, and this is why my GT is now stationary. I don't know if it was the best thing to do, I had to reverse it first so started the engine with the car in reverse to get it out of the space. Stopped the engine and took it out of reverse but couldn't get it into any other gears with the engine off. Started the engine again and started slowly feeling at the other gears. As I was feeling at 3rd the car started to move forward, presumably the gear was engaging just enough to get moving. So I kept it held there until it sped up enough to slip into gear (with a big crunch). Got it home, got the clutch cylinder changed only to find the gearbox is now stuck in 3rd, and no amount of waggling the stick or actuators on the outside of the box is getting it out :( So it'll be getting pulled out and dropped off at a specialist soon. Wish I'd just called the breakdown people to get it towed home but noooo, I thought I'd be clever :(
