As some of you may have seen in the "What has made you grumpy....." thread my light came on while driving but the car continued to drive normally.

Well today I managed to borrow a scanner and this is what it churned out


Im thinking now... The car has had it's head gasket done about 600 miles ago, and it makes a sort of chuffing noise but reallly faint, my mechanic mate couldnt hear it.

Would a small leak at the manifold gasket draw enough air in to throw both lambda's out of range?

Tinker time thursday I think.

Forgot to update this, there was a hole just below the 1st lambda and a couple of splits in the intake hoses so the intake hoses have been replaced and the hole plugged, the light has not come back on despite 'mixed' driving.
