Ham, very kind of you to link to our site, however in order to OBD tune a car..... we need to be with it and in all honesty however much I would like to go to Bydgoszcz, we cant find it on a map nor pronounce it :). Wilson Purvis indeed use the Millenium tuning equipment that we use so they will have the same issue. The increase on the 1.9 JTD is some 35 additional BHP and the same increase in lb ft torque. Our best one is the 2.4 JTD engine as in the MArea and Alfa 156 which we can take from 136 to 195 BHP and install permanent grins on drivers faces.

If you would like more details, please drop us an email, visit the site or use that old fashion method and call us 01926 614027 / 07810 122029, preferably before 21:00 though however we do work evenings and weekends.

Best regards

Any tuning would affect the guarantee... In your place I wouldn't risk it before it's expired.

The Powerbox above is undetectable and it's a 5 minute job to remove it. :D<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">

Double check anyway :) Chip tuning usually causes a lot of problems to the engine (in the long term at least) and I've heard from many people that in reality offers nothing... I'm definitely not an expert but I would try to see what people say about it...

Those powerbox only deliver 80% of the power they say they will, all goes in the right direction though! With ECU Remapping, it is undetectable even by dealers as you cannot save off the data to analyse it you can only overwrite it on Euro 2 systems. The newer Euro 3 you can read it off but then you need the original file to compare it against to see if it has been changed but then they wont have the original file that came with your car. Warranty is not affected and insurance is really up to conscience. I am NOT advising you not to tel the insurance company though.

Lester P, JTD80 is that the Punto? We have one of those as a Demo car - well it my hack as well, fancy having a try in it and compare it to the powerbox - it would be good to see what we both think of the two approaches. Whereabouts in th eUK are you and we will see if we can meet up

I heard that there's a bridge between Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and Cumbria these days. [)] Just a couple of hours drive down the M6 from there and job done.......?
