May be a bit of a silly question but are the heater control lights always on?

I've had the still for three years and my bulbs have.been gone for about a year. I replaced them today and noticed the lights were on even without the side lights or head lights being on. Is this normal as I really can't remember what they were like before

im unsure whether or not the electrics are 'negative switched' on the stilo although i will assume not, at a guess your picking up a feed from somewhere do you have Climate control or the normal jobbie with the dials?

The only thing I have messed with is installing a new cd player. The car has no climate

Lol it does go off when keys are removed but I just want it to be working properly lol. I was thinking, could it be a fuse but that would mean they wouldn't come on at all

yeah pretty much lol

Deckchair is usually THE MAN when it comes to the stilos many electrical gremlins... id suggest checking feeds into the unit at the multiplug on the back of the unit but i dont want to send you on a wild goose chase as i really dont know ;)

Hopefully he will see this thread then lol. I took the cd player out a minute ago and checked wiring etc. So not really sure what could have happened.

On my car, the illumination for the: MODE panel switches, climate control display and switches, ASR/CITY panel switches, steering wheel buttons, front and rear electric window switches, electric seat switches and the sunroof and alarm panel switches all stay on when the ignition is switched on with or without any exterior lights on. They all dim when the exterior lights are switched on.

When the ignition is switched off, the electric window switches stay illuminated for about a minute and the electric seat switches stay illuminated until about a minute after a front door has been opened.

I was just going to post a question about a similar problem.

My heater controls never light up even when the headlights are on. I thought there must be something wrong with this as it is virtually impossible to adjust the heat control when I am driving in the dark as I can´t see any of the controls.

Would this be something simple like a fuse possibly?
