Is anyone able to help. Since Nov 09 I have had quite a few problems with my Fiat, and yet again I have been having another one.

When I excellerate and my revs are getting between 35 and 45 my engine seems to misfire and the engine warning light comes on.

I have already had all 4 coil packs changed in the last year and also all four fuel injector changed in July last year.

Not sure what this problem can be. If I try to excellerate quickly and the revs go high then it misfires and the warning light comes on. if I am slowly excellerating and take my time and get to the same rev count it doesnt seem to come on.

If I excellerate at a slower pace, once the warning light has come it, after a while it seems to go off, not straight away but a couple of times later when I use it it seems to have gone off. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I haven't taken it back to the garage yet to see what the problem can be as I have already spent the best part of £2000 on my car in just over 1 yr, including normal all tyres, breaks and full exhaust.

Tbh your walking in the dark without having the fault codes read. That'll narrow down what you need to look at.

Which engine size petrol diesel 8 or 16v

As the others have said we need to know what engine you have and the fault codes read.

Did this problem start before or after the new exhaust. You may just need a new lambda sensor.
