I got the wheels painted. I added a "yellow" stripe, but it is not matching the car's color at all! :( I will try to get a different one from the internet (local shops had only this color). Time to have some fun now. :)

Here are some pictures with both my "babies"... :)

A little update...

I got my car back! The mechanic programmed the ECU, and he gave me the car at 0,9-1bar. He measured it on the dyno, 210PS and 31kg of torque with 35C ambient temperature! (it is a bit hot in Greece!) :)

The same day, I raised the pressure to 1,2 and it is going a lot faster! :) Today I am going to raise the pressure to 1,4bar and that would be the max pressure for the summer. By September, it is going to run at 1,6-1,7bar! :)

On Saturday, I am going to measure it on a dyno at 1,4bar. I will let you know! :)

It has been long since my last visit to the forum, but I have some news to share with you...

I started stripping the interior in order to install an OMP roll cage, remove stuff that only add weight and make the car more "racing". Now is just the first day. I will keep posting as the project proceeds.

that looks very nice

so you mean you've spent over 40,000 euros?

re: Ex Stilo 1.6 Turbo. Now Stilo 3.0 V6 with "some" mods.

I think this is the most beautiful and modded car of them all. No Stilo I've seen had suck a great tuning on the inside. Why they didn't make a petrol version with turbo, nobody knows, it would've been suck a hit...

Yeap! This is history... :)

Thank you all for your comments.

I forgot to tell you about a couple of changes I did before I started stripping it. I changed the gearbox disc with a new one, stronger, because the OEM Punto GT MK1 disc was slipping due to extra power and torque. I also moved the front 4-pot 305mm Brembos to the rear axle and I installed bigger 4-pot Brembo callipers and 345mm discs to the front! Now the car brakes more and also more ballanced.

And now, stripping out the car continues. Tons of cables are being removed. Also the radiator (which weights a ton!) has been removed. We have to remove almost everything from the inside in order to paint the inside in yellow color. Needs quite a lot more job to be done. I will keep you updated... ;)

UR MAD lol, just looking at those naked pictures of your stilo and its inner shell makes me cringe, I could never do that to my yellow baby toy :ROFLMAO:..... unless I was undertaking a project like you off course where excess materials and parts are unwanted, but even still.... god forbid stilo cruelty lol

Well and truly admire the styling of your car tho, NICE modds all round and well envy the paint work and styling (y)

She is looking lovely there.
I am intrigued as to why your floor pan is soo different to my Schumacher. The Schumi looks much more reinforced against chassis twist.
Carpet is being replaced at home so im using the old underlay as a sound barrier in my car. I shall take some pictures when the flooring is up.

The cage is ready. It is time to start building the car and prepare it for the circuit...

Still love the outside of your car, just a shame to see it disemboweled. I think a car looses it soul a little when they are stripped out.

Wait to see how it is going to look in the end... Some tips for your imagination...

carbon parts...
custom dashboard...
racing switches...

how much power did your stilo have or still have ?

After the last upgrade, I didn't had the chance to put it on a dyno. I did a dyno run during the summer, with 0,9bar pressure and 35 C ambient temperature. That gave 210PS with 31kg of torque, and also the car was not running ok in high revs (ECU programming was not completed).

During the autumn the ECU programming was completed, the car runs now at 1,5bar but I haven't measure it yet. When I am going to finish with the roll cage, it will be the first thing that I will do! :D

I can make a guess that it must be around 260PS if I can judge from some "testing" that has been done with a couple of friends' cars...

Today I started designing the dashboard. Tomorrow it will be finished. I hope it is going to be manufactured and install by the weekend...
