Can someone offer a solution
Kindest regards

Thanks Stilo Boy for your advice.having no luck at all with suggestions you made or any of the other kind people who tried to help.
Can get out of the car if i roll the window down & open it from the outside so it isnt life or death.
Thank You again

Is the child lock on?
To reset the dead lock put the key in the passenger door and turn it right-right-left, might be the other way round left-left-right.

I would argue that it is fairly life or death, you need to be able to get out the door in the event of an accident! What if your blindsided on the passenger side? ;) Not good!

If your certain you've used my technique then you'll probably have to visit the dealer and be prepared for a new inner door panel.

What does that mean?

Can get out of the car if i roll the window down & open it from the outside
So you're saying the door simply doesn't open when you pull the internal handle?

Nah he's saying he can't get out the passenger door at all? Spelling or language is an issue with this post I think.

I had this exactly problem on my stilo, passenger door only, wouldn't open from external handle or internal once deadlocked and then unlocked. The latch would jam, my technique with patience got my door open. By patience I mean you could be lock/unlock/pull handle/repear for a good 15minutes doing this task evert 5 seconds. But eventually you'd get in. After doing this about 4 times to confirm it worked I then took the car to the garage, where I had to do it twice because the garage didn't have a clue.

Hi guys you are correct post is a bit unclear.

The passenger door is fine, theres no problem with that. Its the driverside door that i couldnt open from the inside.

Apologies for muddled post.

I appreciated all your comments

Thanks
