As Argonought said dont panic.

Im having mine programmed on Friday for £35 including the card from fiat (£20) by a Fiat Specialist.

And he said...if you have a stilo with no alarm then they can program the indicators to flash, and if you have an alarm (standard or afterfit - as i do) they can program it to beep in accordance to the indicators, like the bravo did.

I'd find a specialist rather than a dealer as Fiat quoted £45 + the cost of the code, and the specialist (NJS) was £35 inclusive.

Mate, respectfully as Argo says you are over complicating things. Any Stilo can be made to flash, alarm or no alarm. There is the standard charge for connecting it to the computer, but as mentioned already maybe save it until it has to go in for service and ask politely. It only takes a couple of clicks of a mouse to activate. If you really cannot wait for them to flash - like i couldn't lol, then it was a standard £20 charge to be connected to computer....but like i said in earlier post i managed to get away without being charged...well only £10 for the code card!
