tbh theres kind of an unwritten rule that its more like 70-80 mph which is acceptable. at 65 it feels like u could run faster, so i agree
People get really pee'd off when you do 69mph in the fast lane whilst overtaking a wilkinsons lorry. HAH!
Doesn't matter what speed you're doing, as long as there's someone in the lane to your left and you're in the process of overtaking them (i.e. not driving alongside them or clinging to the corner of their back bumper, to block them in while they approach the Wilkinsons lorry).
I'll happily wait behind someone overtaking at 60, but get narky with someone doing 70 with fresh air on their left.
It's about time there were some public info ads to tell people how to drive nicely.

At the end of the day the 3rd land is for overtaking regardless. If a driver wishes to drive over 70 MPH that is that drivers issue. And over drivers should not hog the lane if the lane to the left is clear!
